Our Covid-19 Procedures

Updated: Aug 20, 2021

At Cheat Eatz, The safety of our employees and our customers is our top priority. Since we first opened our doors, we have continuously upheld top industry standards when it comes to cleanliness and sanitation practices in our kitchen and delivery vehicle.

Staying home and using a meal delivery service is statistically one of your safest options for food. Nonetheless, we take extreme measures to ensure quality and cleanliness so that our customers can receive delicious and fresh food safely delivered to their door.

Though work environments have changed, our commitment to your business remains the same.

Here are some of the procedures we are putting in place because of the COVID-19/Coronavirus.

  • Closely keeping up with any new information and recommendations given by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and the World Health Organization (WHO)

  • Educating our employees on preventative measures provided by the CDC and WHO.

  • Enforcing procedures that increase the frequency and extent of our cleaning practices. We have additional disinfectant wipe downs of all hard surfaces including the kitchen, bathrooms, and serving stations.

  • Providing disposable hand towels and soap in the kitchen bathrooms and sinks.

  • Implementing mandatory hand-washing procedures for all employees every 15 minutes while on shift.

  • Discouraging all personal contact within our facilities, including hand shaking greetings.

  • Telling our staff if they have even the slightest of viral symptoms to stay at home or sending our employees home early if they present any symptoms.

  • Due to the nature of our business, we are exclusively providing contactless PICK-UP for food. Or drop-off at the customer’s door.

We comply with all USDA, FDA, Federal, State, County and Local food safety regulations, and I have listed below several of the many steps we take to keep our facility clean. If you are considering whether it is safer to order our food, go to a grocery store, or order food via restaurant delivery, according to the CDC’s current guidelines on the coronavirus, services like ours are significantly safer.

Our food is made locally and is in transit soon after being prepared, unlike out of state meal prep companies. We do not hand off person to person, but drop off the meals at your doorstep, making it extremely unlikely for the coronavirus to survive the transit, ensuring both customers and our staff are safe and healthy.

Call ahead or visit our website, place your order, pay over the phone or online, and pick up and sign outside!
